It was Gibran who said, In only one drop of water are found all the secrets of the ocean.  What a privilege it is for the drop deemed worthy of such an honor. How proud it must feel to be entrusted with such glorious distinction..
But it must also be exhausting for a single drop to harbor confidences of such vast proportion.
Does it yearn to relinquish its burden and flow freely amongst it's kind unencumbered? I wonder... Or perhaps the noble task of safeguarding the ocean's treasures has become a vital part of it's very existence...

I don't know, but I find myself fascinated.

Ramadan 1430: Day 12

I am 100% convinced that every single thing that happens in this world and in our lives, happens for a reason and by the will of Allah (swt). We might not understand why, but if we think on it enough it would make perfect sense.

completed Juz 13
Chapter 12: Surah Yusuf Verses 53-111
Chapter 13: Surah Ar-Ra'd Verses 1-43
Chapter 14: Surah Ibrahim Verses 1-52

If they say, He fabricated (the Quran), tell them: Then produce ten suras like these, fabricated, and invite whomever you can, other than God, if you are truthful. When they fail to meet your challenge, then know that this is revealed with God's knowledge, and that there is no god except He. Will you then submit? Those who pursue this worldly life and its material vanities, we will pay them for their works in this life, without the least reduction. It is they who gave up their share in the Hereafter, and, consequently, hell is their lot. All their works are in vain; everything they have done is nullified.  [Qur'an 11: 13-16]
