It was Gibran who said, In only one drop of water are found all the secrets of the ocean.  What a privilege it is for the drop deemed worthy of such an honor. How proud it must feel to be entrusted with such glorious distinction..
But it must also be exhausting for a single drop to harbor confidences of such vast proportion.
Does it yearn to relinquish its burden and flow freely amongst it's kind unencumbered? I wonder... Or perhaps the noble task of safeguarding the ocean's treasures has become a vital part of it's very existence...

I don't know, but I find myself fascinated.

GINA T - Sail Over Seven Seas

day by day I miss you so
you had to go my love
where's your ship so far away
you said that you will return
before the autumn comes
everyday i dream of you
in my dream little seagulls
fly through the darkest night
searching for some teardrops in the wind
with the ship of lonely loveless

i sail over seven seas try to
find the captain of my heart
i sail over seven seas
to find the way to your heart
i sail through the darkest night
i sail to your heart

i sail over seven seas
to find the way to your heart
i sail with the winter night
oh alone in the dark
i don't fear the stormy night
and the night don't feel too cold
all because i miss you so
in the distance i can see
the island of my home
oh i want to be with you
